FOX News Finally Reports the TRUTH – kinda!
2/2/17 FOXbussiness.com reported that Short-Term-Medical (STM) was 1/3 the price of Obamacare plans. That is not an accurate statement because Obamacare makes younger people pay more so younger families save more with STM. For example; 30-year-old married couples with 2 children in Charlotte, NC have to pay $1,461 a month for the cheapest Obamacare Bronze plan from Blue Cross with a $6,650 per person deductible. Truckers Solution STM is available for $285 a month (zip code 28105) with a smaller $2,500 deductible that pays 100%. Truckers Solution STM or Truckers Solution Medical (TSM) is less than ¼ the price with a much smaller deductible. Here is the FOXbussiness.com story:
Here is an interesting part of this story. The State of North Carolina charges State employees and school teachers $720 a month to add their family to the State’s over-priced employee plan and then have the NERVE to call it a benefit. Truckers Solution Medical (TSM) saves State employees enough to purchase a new car! Here is the proof:
I submit that not only will STM be the nail in the coffin of Obamacare but also employer-based health insurance. Employer-based health insurance is a house of cards and now it’s just a matter of TIME.
FOXbussiness.com further reported: “Health care practices have created another option for individuals searching for more comprehensive coverage than a short-term plan, but more affordability than an ACA offering. These are known as benefits packages, and they are available all year and typically cost about half the price of an ObamaCare plan.”
Truckers Solution Benefit Package (TSBP) includes health and life insurance with Living Benefits for superior, robust and steadfast security. The 30-year-old couple above would each have $400,000 in Life Insurance that pays up to 95% of the death benefits with a Critical Illness (CI) like a heart attack, cancer or stroke. The cost is $147.79 per month. The total cost for Truckers Solution Benefit Package is $285 (Medical) a month plus $147 (Life) a month or $432 a month.
Consumers who demand value with their health insurance benefits demand TSBP. If these parents get cancer they would prefer the smaller deductible on TSM and getting 95% of $400,000 or $380,000 in cash to help comfort them in this time of need. Consumers deserve superior benefits at a much less affordable price than the inefficient and expensive Obamacare or employer-based benefits.
CLOSING QUESTIONS: This young family should ask themselves; would I prefer to spend $1,461 a month for over-priced NC Blue Cross Obamacare or $432 a month for Truckers Solution Benefit Package (TBSP) and save $1,029 a month?
OR; would I prefer to spend $720 a month for over-priced NC Blue Cross employer-based insurance from the school district or State of North Carolina or $432 a month for TBSP and save $288 a month?
